Götz, Maya

Dr. Maya Götz (*1967) leitet das Internationale Zentralinstitut für das Jugend- und Bildungsfernsehen (IZI) in München. Arbeitsschwerpunkte: Forschungen im Bereich Kinder-Jugend-Fernsehen mit besonderem Interesse an der geschlechterspezifischen Rezeptionsforschung. Sie promovierte 1998 in Kassel mit der Dissertation "Fernsehen im Alltag von Mädchen: Facetten der Medienaneignung". Weitere Veröffentlichungen: "Der Gebrauchswert von Kindersendungen im Alltag" (2002), "Geschlecht und Medienpädagogik" (2002), Kinder- und Familienfernsehen aus der Sicht der Kinder" (2001).

Lemish, Dafna

Professor Dafna Lemish is Chair of the Department of Communication at Tel Aviv University, Israel. Her research and teaching focus on the role of media in children’s lives and on gender and media representations and consumption.

Aidman, Amy

Amy Aidman, Ph.D., is Assistant Dean in the College of Communications at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and has faculty appointments with the Institute of Communications Research and the Graduate School of Library and Information Science at the University of Illinois.
She is the former Research Director for the Center for Media Education, a Washington D.C. based research and policy organization. Her scholarly activities focus on the relationship between children and media, media literacy as well as media policy and culture.

Moon, Hysesung

Hysesung Moon (*1958 in Seoul), Ph.D., is senior advisor in "KGIT (Korean German Industrial Technology)" at the faculty for media education. She is also research fellow at the "Institute for Educational Research Yonsei University" and lecturer at the Yonsei University.
She mainly deals with TV education for children. Publications: "Media Education" (2004), "Massmedia and children’s fantasies" (2003), "Between Confucianism and European thinking" (1999).
